Search the text (beta)
Search the Latin transcription and English translation XML.
Note: searching for ‘king’ under whole word would simply find all instances of ‘king’; searching for it under partial match would also find ‘kingdom’, ‘kings’, ‘making’, and so on.
Note: where a name is abbreviated to the initial in the Latin it appears as an editorial expansion in the translation: thus, Rex H’ in the Latin would appear as ‘King H[enry]’ in the translation, so for all instances of Henry you need to search ‘Henry’ and ‘H[enry]’.
See the editorial principles for further context on the XML mark-up, Latin transcriptions and English translations.
